The present invention relates to a locking medium that is suitable for a variety of portable electronic devices having different sizes.

The housing comprises a locking orifice.
The support assembly comprises a first expandable attachment member and a second expandable attachment member which are rotatably connected to the housing and are meshing with each other, the first expandable fastener having a first engagement portion for engaging a first corner of a lower end of a portable electronic device and the second expandable attachment member having a second engagement portion for engagement with a second corner of the lower end of the portable electronic device.
The movable pressure rod is introduced into the housing and comprises a retaining member configured to retain an upper end of the portable electronic device.
Preferably, a protective pad made of flexible material is attached to the housing, the first expandable fastener, the second expandable fastener and the movable pressure rod. The protective pad contacts the surface of the portable electronic device.
Preferably, the first extensible fastener has a first toothed portion and the second expandable fastener has a second toothed portion meshing with the first toothed portion.

[0032] Referring to Figures 1-5, it can be seen that a latch carrier 100 for portable electronic devices, such as a tablet and a smart phone, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. comprises: a housing 10 comprising a locking hole 11, a support assembly 20 configured to hold the shelf 200, and a movable pressure rod 30.

Referring to Figures 5, 6 and 7, it can be seen that the first expandable fastener 21a has a first toothed portion 212 and the second expandable fastener 22 has a second toothed portion 222 in meshing with the first toothed portion 212. The first expandable fastener 21 is movable and has a first pushbutton 213 configured to control a travel length of the first expandable fastener 21. The second expandable fastener 22 is movable and has a a second pushbutton 223 configured to control a travel length of the second expandable fastener 22. The first expandable fastener 21 further has a first resilient member 214 configured to position the first push button 213 and the second extensible attachment 22 further has a second elastic member 224 configured to position the second push button 223.
The mobile pressure rod 30 is inserted into the housing 10 and comprises a retaining member 31 configured to retain an upper end of the portable electronic device 200.
The locking support 100 further comprises a flexible stop plate 40 and a movable drive block 50 with an attachment opening 51, the movable drive block 50 being movable to a first position where the fastening aperture 51 is in correspondence of the locking aperture 11, as shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B, and the movable drive block 50 is movable to a second position at which the flexible stopping plate 40 releases the stalk movable pressure 30, as shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B, so that when the portable electronic device 200 is mounted on the latch carrier 100, a Kensington latch (not shown) is latched onto the fastener opening 51 and the locking hole 11 so as to position the movable pressure rod 30, thereby locking the portable electronic device 200 on the locking support 100.
